Anderlecht dominates as title fight continues

Bourdais takes first pole as title contenders struggle
Sevilla’s Sebastien Bourdais took his first Superleague Formula by Sonangol pole position in qualifying at Jarama, but the title race was blown wide open as both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur failed to make it out of the group stages.

Petiz and Sporting win race two as Seville scores weekend win
Sporting Lisbon’s Pedro Petiz took his and the club’s first Superleague Formula by Sonangol victory at Monza today after a mature, untroubled drive from start to finish. Seville’s Sebastien Bourdais meanwhile came through to third after starting last to grab the Weekend Winner award.

Pantano visita San Siro
Se è vero che gli amici si vedono nel momento dei bisogno, Giorgio Pantano ha voluto dare una dimostrazione di attaccamento alla maglia dell’AC Milan, squadra che il pilota veneto rappresenta nella Superleague Formula by Sonangol. Pantano lo scorso mercoledì non ha voluto mancare al match di Champions League che ha visto in campo l’AC Milan contro la squadra del Zurigo. Una partita difficile, conclusasi con il successo della squadra svizzera, ma fortunatamente non è stata una sconfitta che ha pregiudicato gravemente il cammino della squadra italiana nella Champions League 2009/10. Per Pantano è stata comunque una serata indimenticabile, vissuta da grande appassionato all’interno della magica atmosfera dello stadio di San Siro. “L’unica nota stonata della serata è stata il risultato della partita – ha spiegato Pantano – un verdetto sul quale ha pesato anche una dose di sfortuna. Un appassionato di calcio ed un tifoso del Milan con me, non possono però restare indifferenti davanti allo spettacolare fascino dello stadio illuminato come vuole la tradizione delle partite serali della Champions League. Un impatto emozionante”.

L’AC Milan di Pantano corre in casa questo weekend
L’intervista esclusiva con Giorgio Pantano
Il prossimo 3 e 4 Ottobre l’AC Milan affiancherà agli abituali impegni calcistici un appuntamento molto particolare. La sede sarà il prestigioso Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, circuito dove la Superleague Formula scenderà in pista per il quinto appuntamento della stagione 2009. Nel campionato che vede la passione per il calcio e le adrenaliniche sensazioni dell’automobilismo fondersi in un unico contenitore, l’AC Milan è presente con una sua monoposto, affidata all’ex pilota di Formula 1 Giorgio Pantano. Uno dei più grandi piloti del panorama italiano ma anche un milanista ‘doc’, come è lo stesso Giorgio a confermare proprio alla vigilia della tappa monzese.
